Summary

CLECC is seeking substitute teachers/flex staff with a love for working with children to join our team. Substitute teachers need good communication skills and create positive relationships with both children and their parents. We have children from 6 weeks old to 12 years. Ideally, we need staff that can work Monday-Friday, a variety of hours as per center needs. We can work around the schedule of the right person however!

Duties

Assist in creative play inside and out.
Actively engage in classroom games and reading stories, keep the classrooms clean and safe.
Have good communication skills with parents through our app and in person.
Help ensure smooth, daily transition from home to child care center.
Follow all center policies and state regulations.
Clean classroom at end of day.

Requirements

Minimum of 1 year of child care experience.
High energy and fun!.
Ability to work well with others.
Strong communication skills.
Complete health and safety course within 3 months of hire.
Clear full background check.
Pass health check/physical with your doctor.
