Payscale: $16hr to $18hr depending on education and experience.

Responsibilities:
  • Employ a variety of educational techniques (storytelling, educational play, media, etc.) to teach children. Have Fun!
  • Observe and build relationships with each child to help them improve their social competencies and build self-esteem. Have Fun!
  • Guide children to develop their artistic and practical capabilities through a carefully constructed curriculum (identify shapes, numbers, or colors, do crafts, etc.) Have Fun!
  • Supervise children to ensure they are always safe.
  • Communicate with parents regularly to understand the childrens background and psyche.
  • Maintain a clean and tidy classroom consistent with health and safety standards.
Qualifications:
  • Must be 18 years of age and have a High School Diploma or GED.
  • 1-2 years experience working in a licensed childcare facility preferred.
  • CDA, degree in Early Childhood Education or Elementary Education or related field is required.
