Position: PK-8th Grade Daily Substitute Teacher School: Moravian Academy Location: Swain Campus 1100 S. 24th St, Allentown, PA 18103 Schedule: As needed, during the academic year

Position Overview We are seeking reliable, adaptable, and engaging substitute teachers who are ready to step into PK-8th grade classrooms to support our students and uphold our learning environment when regular teachers are absent. This role requires flexibility, strong communication skills, and a genuine enthusiasm for working with children of varying ages. Key Responsibilities Deliver lessons and activities according to the teacher's plans or, when necessary, adapt instruction to meet students' needs.

Maintain a positive, respectful, and productive classroom environment.

Follow school policies, procedures, and schedules to ensure continuity of instruction.

Supervise students during classroom activities, transitions, and recess/lunch periods.

Communicate effectively with colleagues and administrators regarding student needs and daily updates.

Qualifications Bachelor's degree required (education or related field preferred).

Previous experience working with children in an educational setting is strongly preferred.

Ability to manage multiple grade levels and adapt to different subject areas.

Deep care for children and interest Compensation & Schedule Daily Rate ranges from $100 - $140, depending on the length of the assignment

Assignments are available on a day-to-day basis, with advance notice when possible.
