This is a CTE Ag Science teaching position at Aledo HS for the 2025-2026 school year. This position could include teaching responsibilities in Animal Science, Plant Science/Floral Design and/or Agricultural Technology and Mechanical Systems This position is paid on the Teacher Pay Scale + Academic Stipend for FFA.

Please see the Job Description and Compensation Plan attached. CTE teachers must sponsor/co-sponsor a Career and Technology School Organization (CTSO), which will require some before or after school time but do receive an annual stipend. Must be able to travel with and supervise students in your CTSO.

Certification Information Generally, a TEA certification such as listed below, is preferred for these positions, however there are some additional routes to qualify a non-certified individual with appropriate private industry experience.

Agriculture, Food, and Natural Resources: Grades 6-12 Agricultural Science and Technology: Grades 6-12 Any vocational agriculture certificate
