District: First State Montessori Academy Co- Teaching Position - 29.5 hours/week (K- 1st grade) FSMA believes that every teacher is an integral part of our school. Qualifications: Individuals wishing to become employed as a Co-Teacher at FSMA should hold a valid Delaware teaching license and/or have completed an accredited Montessori certification program. Content specialists are encouraged to apply.

Job Responsibilities: Part-Time teachers work from 9:15 - 3:15 every day. They are present during instruction and take responsibility for certain content areas or grade levels, depending upon their background and expertise. They work with a co-teacher to plan and execute lessons as well as assess students and communicate with families.

Co-Teacher Salary Range (Part Time, 29.5 hours/week) $39,000 - $45,000

Advanced Degree Notes: Master's degree - additional $2500 given to teacher's who have a Master's Degree entered and approved in the state DEEDS system in the subject area/grade you teach.

Part-Time 30 Teacher (different from above): Teachers with Dual Certification (Montessori Certification in the grade level you teach and Delaware State Certification in the grade level you teach), you can choose to work 30 hours a week, you will be considered a Part-Time 30 Teacher and you will be eligible for benefits. Options: 8:45 a.m. - 3:15 p.m. or 9:00 a.m. - 3:30 p.m.
