Job Title: Computer Science Teacher (Grades 6-8, includes 1 section of Grade 6 Math) Location: Randolph Community Middle School - Randolph Public Schools, Randolph, MA Job Description: Randolph Community Middle School is seeking a passionate, student-centered Computer Science Teacher for the 2025-2026 school year. This position includes teaching Project Lead The Way (PLTW) Computer Science curriculum to students in grades 6-8 and one section of Grade 6 Math. The Computer Science course follows the Project Lead The Way (PLTW) curriculum, providing students with hands-on experience in programming, computational thinking, and real-world problem-solving. The curriculum emphasizes collaboration, creativity, and critical thinking as students explore topics such as algorithms, data structures, and software development. Instructional coaching support is available to assist new teachers with curriculum implementation and classroom strategies. The ideal candidate is committed to educational equity, excited about STEM instruction, and eager to collaborate with colleagues. Responsibilities Include: Teach PLTW Computer Science courses to grades 6-8 using provided curriculum Teach one section of Grade 6 Math using district provided curriculum materials Participate in PLTW summer training (fully funded by the district) Provide hands-on, project-based instruction that engages all learners Collaborate with instructional coaches and colleagues to support student learning Establish a positive, inclusive classroom environment that promotes curiosity and creativity Use student data to inform instruction and support academic growth Term of Employment: 182 school days PLTW Training: Required and provided over the summer Salary: Per the Randolph Public Schools Educators' Association contract
