Job Summary
Under the direction of the site administrator, teach and instruct pupils in Grades 6, 7, and 8, or a combination of these grade levels in academic subject matter, social, behavioral, and other educational skill areas; plan, develop, organize, and conduct a comprehensive educational program for middle school level pupils in accordance with each student's abilities; and assist in other school programs as assigned.
Education:
•Possess a Baccalaureate or higher degree with an emphasis in education, instructional technology, or subject matter fields commonly taught at a middle school level.
Certification Requirements:
•Possess a valid California credential authorizing service as a teacher of middle grade levels and subject areas assigned with CLAD Emphasis or English Language Learner Authorization.
