We are currently seeking a passionate and dependable Childcare Teacher to join our growing team and make a meaningful impact in the lives of young children and their families.

Position Summary:

The Childcare Teacher is responsible for creating a warm and welcoming classroom environment that promotes emotional, social, physical, and cognitive development. This role includes implementing age-appropriate curriculum, building positive relationships with children and parents, and maintaining a safe, clean, and organized classroom.

Key Responsibilities:

Create and maintain a safe, nurturing, and engaging learning environment.
Implement The Learning Experience's proprietary curriculum and support children's individual learning needs.
Supervise and ensure the safety and well-being of children at all times.
Build strong, positive relationships with children, parents, and co-workers.
Communicate with families through daily reports, updates, and scheduled conferences.
Assist in maintaining classroom cleanliness, organization, and licensing compliance.
Collaborate with fellow teachers and leadership to create a team-oriented, supportive work environment.
Observe and document children's progress and behavior and participate in ongoing assessments.
Attend staff meetings, trainings, and professional development opportunities as required.

Qualifications:

Required:

High school diploma or equivalent.
Minimum of 6 months to 1 year experience working in a licensed childcare center or preschool.
Must meet Texas Child Care Licensing background check and training requirements.
CPR and First Aid Certification (or willingness to obtain).
Passion for working with young children and a commitment to creating a positive learning experience.

Preferred:

CDA (Child Development Associate) or related coursework in early childhood education.
Experience with infant, toddler, or preschool age groups.
Familiarity with curriculum implementation and classroom management.

Compensation: $13.00 - $16.00 per hour
