Location: Today's Child Learning Center - Winston-Salem, NC
Hours: Full-Time | Monday–Friday: must be available between the hours of 6:00 AM - 6:30 PM

Responsibilities
What You’ll Do:
Provide a warm, safe, and nurturing learning experience that supports each child’s unique development
Uphold the center’s goals, guidelines, and high standards of care
Ensure full compliance with North Carolina Division of Child Development regulations and Health Department sanitation requirements
Foster a positive and inclusive environment where children, families, and team members feel valued and supported
Qualifications
Education: 2 Year / Associate Degree, required. AA/AAS degree in Early Childhood or related field as defined by DHHS Division of Child Development Education unit, required.
Experience: Minimum of 2-year verifiable experience in a childcare center, or years of experience working with children up to 12 years of age; required.
Licensure/Certification:
NC Credentials or equivalency defined by regulatory compliance Division of Child Development Workforce Unit, required.
Adult and Pediatric CPR/First Aid within 2 months of hire, required.
ITS SIDS (Sudden Infant Death Syndrome) within 2 months of hire (infants up to 12 months of age)of age), required.
Additional Skills Required:
DHHS NC Division of Child Development Criminal Background Letter (required renewal every 5 years), and Workforce letter (within 60 days of hire) or education verification until workforce letter is obtain.
Ability to successfully complete generic and department-specific skills validation and competency testing.
BSAC required for those working with school age children. CDL for school age if driving the buses.· NC Division of Child Development Qualifying Letter/Criminal Background letter · NC Division of Child Development Workforce letter within 2 months of hire · NC Institute for Child Development Professional ECE Certification within 2 months of hire.
CDL license (if hired for driving buses) and working with school age children.
Maintain training hours requirements as outlined by the Division of Child Development.
Additional Skills Preferred: Playground Safety training.
