The Gilbert School is seeking a passionate, forward-thinking Business Education Teacher (#010) to bring learning to life through authentic, real-world experiences. In this role, you will guide students through a variety of business-related courses, using hands-on, project-based approaches that align with Career and Technical Education (CTE) pathways, Connecticut and National Business Education Standards, and the latest industry practices.

We're looking for an educator who can spark curiosity, fuel innovative thinking, and help students build the skills and confidence they need for success in college, careers, and life. As part of our collaborative teaching community, you'll work alongside dedicated colleagues to integrate 21st-century skills into engaging lessons while creating a welcoming, inclusive classroom environment where every student can thrive.

Qualifications: Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university. Appropriate Connecticut State Department of Education Certification (#010 Business, 7-12) or certifiable in Business. Knowledge of business education content areas, including E-Commerce, Business Law, Marketing, and Entrepreneurship. Proficient in integrating business technologies and digital platforms into instruction. Demonstrated skills in project-based learning, career readiness instruction, and student-centered teaching practices. Strong collaboration, communication, and organizational skills.
