SolBe Learning is a startup, Boston-based early education center caring for children under age five. SolBe opened its first location in January, 2019. We are seeking vibrant, committed early education professionals who are eager to be part of our future!

Position: EEC Certified Infant and Toddler Educators

Location: 631 VFW Pkwy, Chestnut Hill

Start Date: August, 2020

Compensation: $17-21 per hour, plus benefits; dependent on experience, EEC certification level and related education

*Position Overview*

* Planning, observation and assessment of children’s development and learning. * Direct care of children, accomplished with patience, warmth and respect for family preferences. * Observation of children’s strengths and interests as inspiration for the development of the physical environment and curriculum activities that engage and challenge children. * Ongoing collaboration/ communication with team and center educators for improved practice and service to families. * Commitment to open communication with parents, including informal daily communication, planned conferences as required, visual displays in center

*Qualifications: *SolBe is seeking EEC certified educators: teacher and lead teacher. Our model focuses on immersion education; these positions require a conversational level of Spanish. In keeping with our innovative approach to early education, we are looking for candidates who demonstrate dependability, flexibility, openness to a collaborative process and effective communication—both as a speaker and listener.

Minimum:

1. Commitment to learning and growth in field

2. EEC certification for Teacher; commitment to learning and growth in field.

3. Bilingual: Spanish and English.

Preferred:

1. Associates’ or Bachelors’ degree in ECE or related field

2. Two or more years of experience working with children in a Group Childcare environment

3. Familiarity with Reggio Emilia approach and environments.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $18.00 - $22.00 per hour
