Were seeking an enthusiastic, high-energy individual who loves engaging with kids to join our team as a Before and After Care Teacher Assistant at Bio-Med Science Academy STEM School in Ravenna, OH.

JOB STATUS: Part-time, non-exempt PAY: $14.50/hour

As part of our Before and After-School Program team, youll be responsible for:

Leading hands-on, interactive activities based on our Healthy Kids Curriculum which includes everything from physical fitness and STEAM projects to creative arts, academic exploration, and more. Youll also be a go-to helper when it comes to homework time. Creating a secure, positive, and fun atmosphere where children can grow and shine. Be the kind of role model kids can look up to each day. Communicating with parents and guardians using the Playground App because sharing updates and memorable moments is important. Following state licensing standards, Healthy Kids Extended Day Program policies, and the host school's procedures like a seasoned pro. Depending on the position, you may also handle tasks like maintaining accurate attendance, assisting with enrollment, and supporting staffing needs.

Requirements MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

You are at least 18 years old and have earned a high school diploma or equivalent. Experience working with children under age 13 is a bonus, but not required we value passion and enthusiasm! You have medical clearance to perform job functions and are free from communicable illnesses, including tuberculosis. Youre friendly, outgoing, and great with people whether you're interacting with kids, parents, or fellow staff. Reliability, professionalism, and punctuality are second nature to you. Youre able and willing to move, lift (up to 50 lbs.), bend, and stay active throughout your shift to keep up with busy, energetic children.
