Position Overview: We are looking for a nurturing and energetic Assistant Teacher to join our Young Toddler classroom (typically ages 12–24 months) . In this role, you’ll work alongside the Lead Teacher to provide consistent care, engage toddlers in play-based learning, and support their social, emotional, and physical development. Key Responsibilities: Support the Lead Teacher with daily routines, including diapering, feeding, napping, and playtime
Assist in implementing age-appropriate activities that support growth and development
Maintain a clean, safe, and engaging classroom environment
Supervise and interact with toddlers in a warm, responsive, and respectful manner
Communicate effectively with families and team members
Observe and document children’s development and share insights with the teaching team
Foster a classroom culture of patience, love, and curiosity
Qualifications: High school diploma or GED required
Experience working with infants or toddlers in a licensed childcare setting preferred
Passion for working with young children and supporting their development
Reliable, patient, and flexible with a strong team-oriented attitude
Must meet all state licensing requirements, including background checks, fingerprinting, and health screenings
CPR and First Aid certification preferred (or willingness to obtain)
CDA or ECE coursework a plus, but not required
