Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Assistant Teacher to join our educational team. The ideal candidate will play a vital role in supporting the lead teacher in creating a nurturing and stimulating learning environment for students. This position is perfect for individuals who are enthusiastic about childhood development and eager to contribute to the educational journey of young learners. The children in the classroom will be 3-5 years old. The hours for this position are 1:00-5:30pm, Monday through Friday.

Duties

Assist the lead teacher in implementing daily lesson plans and classroom activities. Support students in their learning processes, fostering an environment that encourages exploration and curiosity. Help maintain a safe, clean, and organized classroom setting. Monitor student progress and provide feedback to the lead teacher regarding individual student needs. Participate in school events as required. Uphold school policies and procedures while promoting a positive atmosphere for learning.

Requirements

High school graduate Eligible for employment in the US Ability to commute to Wildwood, MO

Nice To Haves

Classroom management techniques and practices. Understanding of childhood development principles. Skills in lesson planning and curriculum development. Experience working with preschool-aged children or in a Montessori setting is highly desirable.
