Job Summary

Assists in planning and executing a developmentally appropriate curriculum in a safe and loving environment.

Principal Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Assists in maintaining a clean and safe environment.
  • Assists with Monthly lesson plans.
  • Must comply with State, Local and Federal regulations.
  • Must complete state required 15 ECE training hours annually.
  • Must exhibit good customer relations.
  • Must comply with BHE and CDC standards, policies and procedures.
  • Does not contribute to workplace gossip.
  • Respectful and courteous to all coworkers.
  • Remain alert to all children in the classroom and never leave children unattended.
  • Assists in providing developmentally appropriate daily activities.
  • Assists in maintaining a neat and organized classroom.
  • Maintain confidentiality of children and families.
  • Record attendance, medicine administration, meal counts, etc. as needed.

Minimum Education, Training and Experience Required:

  • High School diploma or equivalent required.
  • This position may require you to have First Aide or CPR Certification.
