Discovery Time Preschool is now hiring a Preschool Associate Teacher.
We offer one multi-age preschool class for students ages 3-5yrs. Students participate in large and small group activities, hands-on learning experiences, play opportunities, snack, story time and developmentally appropriate curriculum. Preschool hours are 9am-11:30am
We have a five-day program for 3- to 5-year old's and a three-day program for 3-year old's. The enrollment is capped at 16 students. School begins on September 2nd.
The following are requirements for the position and can be obtained before employment; current physical examination, CPR/First Aid, Mandatory Reporting for Child Abuse, Universal Precautions, Essentials Child Care Preservice Series, and passing a federal and state background check. Having the required training and previous experience in a childcare or school setting are a plus.
It is our goal to provide children with the very best in preschool learning experiences and development. Each teacher serves as a Christian model and will guide and facilitate the natural development of the child in a loving, caring atmosphere.
This position may be for 5 days a week, or may be split between two candidates.
