Primary Function : To participate in activities with children which are designed to enhance their social, emotional, physical, and intellectual growth. This position will work with infants and toddlers .

Qualifications - Education & Experience High school diploma required; Child Development Associate (CDA) preferred. Experience or desire to work with preschool and school age children. Ability to interact in a positive manner with students, parents, and staff. Knowledge of basic physical, social, emotional, and intellectual development of young children. Such alternatives to the above qualifications as the Board may find appropriate and acceptable.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities Assist teachers with daily activities. Responsible for the safety of children. Follow childcare licensing guidelines. Conduct activities that contribute to the care, growth, and development of children. Greet parents, offering positive feedback about children when appropriate. Maintain regular and predictable in-person attendance. Support the OCS vision and mission. Other duties as assigned.
Starting Hourly Pay Rate : $14.61 - $19.48 per hour based on education and the 2025-26 OELC Salary Schedule
