Art Teacher - Per Diem, 2 days a week (Monday and Tuesday)

Saint Eugene School is in need of a part time Art teacher, to work with grades PreK3 through 8th Grade, on a per diem basis, two days per week, for the length of the school year. Monday and Tuesday are the preferred days requested, but can be negotiated, so long as two days per week are available.

The position is for the 2025-2026 academic school year, beginning on September 3, 2025.

The chosen applicant will instruct students in various art forms, fostering creativity and critical thinking. They will develop and implement lesson plans, manage art supplies, and assess student progress, often integrating art with other subject areas.

General Teaching responsibilities:

Plan, develop and implement an art curriculum to meet varying learning needs and ages.

Assign art projects to students and maintain records of student progress.

Create lesson plans.

Share in the Catholic mission of the school.

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in art education or related field.

Teaching experience preferred.

Salary is based on degree, ranging from $167-$236 per day.
