SIL is a small, student-centered learning environment that supports independent learners through flexible, personalized education. We are seeking a dynamic and versatile Art Teacher to join our team in a very part-time, on-call capacity.

Position Summary:
We are looking for a qualified Art Teacher to provide in-person, one-on-one instruction in a variety of visual art disciplines, including AP Art. This highly flexible role is ideal for an educator who enjoys working individually with students and is available to step in on an as-needed basis throughout the school year.

Responsibilities:

• Provide individualized, in-person art instruction to students, including foundational art, studio art, and AP Art.
  
  
• Guide AP Art students through portfolio development and college-level expectations.
  
  
• Adapt lessons to meet each students learning style, pace, and artistic interests.
  
  
• Foster a safe, inclusive, and creative environment that supports student growth.
  
  

Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree in Art, Art Education, or a related field (required).
  
  
• Teaching credential and experience with AP Art instruction (preferred).
  
  
• Ability to work in person and provide instruction one-on-one.
  
  
• Flexible availability to work on an on-call basis.
  
  
• Excellent communication skills and a student-first mindset.
  
  

Schedule:

• Part-time / As-needed.
  
  
• Flexible hours based on student scheduling needs.
