Description: Exciting opportunity for individuals who posses excellent interpersonal skills, high energy level, creativity and the ability to work with all levels of students. Must demonstrate a thorough knowledge of, and the ability to teach all students reading, writing, speaking and listening skills in a heterogeneous, teamed academic environment. The ability to create a positive, enthusiastic, dynamic classroom atmosphere implementing cooperative learning and participation in classroom activities is necessary.

Qualifications: Connecticut Teaching Certificate #015 OR #215. The ability to qualify, with appropriate endorsement(s), and expertise in appropriate curriculum.

Salary: In accordance with the Agreement Between the Cheshire Board of Education and the Education Association of Cheshire.

Children of a teacher who does not reside in Cheshire may attend the Cheshire Public Schools so long as the teacher continues to teach in Cheshire and pays 50% of the published regular education tuition cost, plus any additional costs incurred by the district regarding their child.
