Were on the lookout for an enthusiastic and kid-loving individual to join our team as a School Age Teacher in the Aftercare Program at the Bio-Med Science Academy STEM School, located in Ravenna, OH.

JOB STATUS: Part-time, non-exempt PAY: $15.00/hour

WHAT YOULL DO:

Stay in Compliance: Help ensure that both staff and students follow all OH regulations, Healthy Kids policies, and the standards set by our host school. Make Learning Fun: Lead interactive, hands-on experiences using the Healthy Kids Curriculum. Think STEAM, physical activities, arts, academics, and more plus, support students in getting their homework done like a champ! Be a Pro at Managing: Handle key administrative tasks like keeping up-to-date attendance logs, ensuring accurate registration, and scheduling to maintain appropriate staffing. Stay Connected: Use the Playground App to keep families in the loop and maintain consistent, positive communication with parents and guardians. Collaborate Like a Star: Keep your supervisor informed with regular updates and quick responses to any issues. When we work together, we provide top-notch care and create a supportive team environment.

WHAT WERE LOOKING FOR:

Youre 18 or older and have a high school diploma or equivalent. Experience working with children under 13 is a plus, but not required enthusiasm and dedication go a long way! CPR/First Aid certification is preferred. Youre medically cleared for all job responsibilities and are free from any contagious illnesses, including TB. You bring a positive attitude and strong interpersonal skills you're reliable, professional, and know how to connect with children, families, and coworkers. Youre physically up to the task: able to lift/carry up to 50 lbs, move around easily, and keep up with active kids!
