Summary

We are looking for a part time teacher from 2:30-6:00 for our growing preschool After Care program. If you are looking for a part-time position that will have a lasting impact for students, we have the perfect position for you! The after care teacher position will support the director and teachers by helping to create a caring and safe environment for the children. Must be reliable. Canidate must be able to communicate, listen and work well with others in a team environment. Hours have some flexibility. September-June. The position follows the Bridgewater School district calendar.

Duties

·Actively plan and engage in activities, manage cleanliness and availability of classroom materials. ·Maintain communications with parents through informal discussions and engagement app. ·Encourage self-help and good hygiene through behavior modeling. ·Help ensure smooth, daily transition from home to preschool. ·Follow all center policies and state regulations. ·Maintain personal professional development plan to ensure continuous quality improvement. ·Ensure a safe environment during these times.

Requirements

High energy. Ability to work well with others. Strong oral and written communication skills Basic computer skills. An understanding of child development. Excellent leadership, organizational, and interpersonal skills. Infant/child CPR and First Aid certification (will help to obtain). Must clear full background check and must pass health screening. High School Diploma or GED Early childhood: 1 year (Preferred)
