As a math teacher for the Advanced Honors Academy program, you'll play a pivotal role in shaping the educational journey of students from diverse backgrounds. Shape Curriculum: Assist in developing curriculum standards and engage in backward planning to ensure comprehensive learning experiences.
Collaborate and Grow: Attend weekly department meetings and participate in professional development opportunities to enhance your skills.
Administrative Support: Perform clerical duties as needed, including managing textbooks, supplies, and student records.
Flexibility and Adaptability: Be open to other duties as assigned by the Executive Directors or Assistant Principals.

Qualifications:

Education: Bachelor's Degree from an accredited four-year educational institution.
Certification: State of Delaware certification as a teacher in your grade or content area.

Experience:

Teaching Background: At least one year of teaching experience (two years preferred).
Achievement Record: A proven track record of elevating student achievement in urban classrooms, with a deep understanding of effective pedagogy.
