DESCRIPTION: St. Paul's School Arts program is seeking a Fine Arts adjunct faculty member to teach two courses in each of the school's three academic terms. The courses include both beginning and advanced levels of drawing and painting. A teaching background in a range of two-dimensional media will be important. Faculty members in the Fine Arts Program value collegiality; candidates for this position must be willing to work closely with a team of teachers. As with all positions, St. Paul's School seeks innovative educators who are eager to participate in the academic program of this dynamic residential community. Applicants interested in coaching or supporting the school in other ways should indicate interest and skill level. Because this is an adjunct position, housing is not provided.

REQUIREMENTS AND QUALIFICATIONS:

EDUCATION: Bachelor's Degree required; Master's Degree preferred.

EXPERIENCE: 3-5 years of teaching experience is preferred. As part of residential boarding school, the candidate must be committed to working with adolescents and supporting their academic, social, and emotional growth.

SALARY: Stipend, dependent upon experience and total workload.
