Mystic Valley Regional Charter School (MVRCS) is a high-performing public charter school located in Malden, Massachusetts, serving over 1,600 students in grades K-12 across four campuses:
- Kindergarten: 576 Eastern Avenue
- Lower School (Grades 1-8): 770 Salem Street
- High School (Grades 9-12): 238 & 306 Highland Avenue
The school draws students primarily from Everett, Malden, Medford, Melrose, Stoneham, and Wakefield. MVRCS follows an extended day and extended year model, with classes held from 8:00 AM to 3:30 PM over a 200-day academic calendar. Job Summary

Key Responsibilities:
- Implement rigorous, standards-aligned curricula and engaging classroom activities
- Design and administer assessments that measure student progress toward mastery
- Use assessment data to refine instruction and adjust teaching strategies
- Participate in collaborative curriculum development, grade-level initiatives, and school-wide events
- Promote and enforce high academic and behavioral expectations with consistency
- Take ownership of student achievement and support all learners in meeting high standards
- Communicate effectively and professionally with students, families, and colleagues
- Participate in a three-week staff orientation and professional training each summer
