At Noble Intermediate School, we believe that learning should be engaging and relevant. Our 6th grade team is on a mission to help students explore and learn about their world, both past and present. We are seeking an energetic social studies teacher who loves to bring history and culture to life, and thrives on working closely with colleagues to create an integrated learning experience for students. What you'll do: You will teach five sections of 6th graders social studies with a focus on inquiry, critical thinking and student voice. You will collaborate daily with your cross curricular team to create units that weave together literature, primary sources and writing skills. You will support students of all abilities in building reading comprehension, analytical skills and a love of learning.
