Position Overview Under the general supervision of the School Principal, the Social Studies Teacher will facilitate student success by: Implementing a standards-aligned curriculum Fostering academic and interpersonal growth Creating a safe, inclusive, and engaging classroom Supporting individual learning needs Maintaining consistent communication with students, parents, and staff

Essential Responsibilities: Develop and administer engaging, standards-based lesson plans Conduct individual and group instruction, adapting as needed Use data to assess progress and adjust instruction Maintain accurate records for attendance, achievement, and behavior Encourage parent involvement and build strong family communication Support school-wide expectations for behavior and citizenship Collaborate with grade-level teams and attend school functions Supervise students during class and school-related activities Administer district and state assessments
Qualifications & Skills: Valid Ohio Teaching License Bachelor's degree in Elementary Education or related field (Master's preferred) Strong classroom management and communication skills Knowledge of differentiated instruction and data-driven decision-making Ability to build positive relationships with students, families, and staff Commitment to professional development and lifelong learning
