Summary
Creative Learning Lab Academy is seeking a dedicated and passionate 4th Grade Teacher to join our educational team. The ideal candidate will be committed to fostering a positive learning environment and inspiring students in their journey to become proficient readers, writers, and critical thinkers. This position requires a strong understanding of relevant curriculum, effective instructional strategies, and the ability to engage students in a meaningful way
Duties
- Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that align with the state standards formultiple subjects including English Language Arts.
- Teach various ELA topics, including reading comprehension, writing skills, vocabulary development, and grammar.
- Create a supportive classroom environment that encourages student participation and promotes academic growth.
- Utilize a variety of teaching methods and resources to accommodate different learning styles and abilities.
- Assess student performance through tests, assignments, and projects, and provide timely feedback.
- Maintain a positive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages student participation and respect.
- Foster a love for reading by curating a diverse range of literary works and facilitating discussions.
- Communicate regularly with parents and guardians regarding student progress and behavior.
- Participate in professional development opportunities to remain current with best practices in education and ELA instruction
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education, or a related field.
- Valid teaching certification for elementary school, preferred.
- Experience teaching elementary school students, preferred.
- Strong knowledge of English Language Arts curriculum and instructional strategies.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to create a positive and inclusive classroom environment.
- Proficient in using educational technology to enhance student learning
