Founded in 1998, Mystic Valley Regional Charter School is a public K–12 charter school located in Malden, Massachusetts, serving over 1,600 students. Our campuses house students across four locations and draw enrollment from the communities of Everett, Malden, Medford, Melrose, Stoneham, and Wakefield.

Our students wear uniforms, attend school for 200 days per year, and benefit from an extended school day (8:00 AM – 3:30 PM), which provides additional time for learning and growth. As a result, MVRCS is consistently ranked among the top public schools in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts and beyond. Our graduates go on to achieve at the highest levels in post-secondary education.

• Establish and maintain a structured, engaging classroom environment and daily schedule

• Document student progress and instructional pacing on a regular basis

• Modify instruction to support students with IEPs and 504 plans, and complete related documentation

• Attend and actively engage in:

  • Weekly grade-level team meetings

  • Bi-monthly staff meetings

  • All required professional development sessions

• Conduct four parent-teacher conferences per year (two in fall, two in spring)

• Uphold and enforce school policies and expectations with consistency

• Collaborate with peers through weekly peer practice sessions (if designated)

• Carry out additional responsibilities as assigned by grade- and department-level leaders and school administrators
