Start Date: 2025-2026 School Year

Position: 3rd Grade Teacher Regular duties and responsibilities include: Providing engaging and challenging instruction in all content areas especially reading and math Using a variety of instructional strategies for students with different learning styles and needs, including small group instruction and differentiated lessons Creates a classroom environment that promotes learning and fosters age-appropriate growth and development for all students Manages the classroom behavior of all students according to classroom rules and student handbook Creating and posting lesson plans on a consistent basis Maintaining an accurate and up to date grade book, providing students and parents with real time feedback on learning Assessing student learning through a variety of methods including formative and summative assessments Communicating with parents to inform them of student progress, including written, phone, or face to face conferencing as needed Participating in meaningful professional development opportunities as coordinated by the CCS Administrative Team Attending, supporting or sponsoring extracurricular activities and clubs as assigned Other duties and responsibilities as assigned by the Administrative Team including carline, lunch, and afterschool responsibilities

Physical requirements include: Sitting, standing, walking, bending, and reaching Ability to lift up to 20 lbs Ability to clearly communicate with students, parents, and staff Ability to travel to and from the workplace

Required qualifications include: Belief in Jesus Christ and status as saved Christian in accordance with the Christian faith and the mission of CCS Bachelor's degree or higher in field Ability to effectively communicate (written, oral) in standard English

Preferred qualifications include: State certification in elementary education (K5-5th) Previous teaching experience at the elementary level
