We are currently looking for an enthusiastic, skilled, and passionate 3rd Grade Teacher specializing in English Language Arts (ELA) and Mathematics to join our team.
Position Overview: The 3rd Grade ELA & Math Teacher will be responsible for designing and delivering engaging, standards-aligned lessons in both English Language Arts and Mathematics. The teacher will work with students to develop their critical thinking, reading comprehension, writing, and mathematical problem-solving skills while fostering a positive and inclusive classroom environment. The ideal candidate will be enthusiastic about teaching and committed to supporting the academic and emotional development of every child.
Responsibilities:
Develop and implement engaging, differentiated lesson plans for English Language Arts (ELA) and Math based on curriculum standards.
Foster a positive and respectful classroom environment that encourages student participation and collaboration.
Monitor and assess student progress regularly through assignments, tests, and observations, providing targeted support as needed.
Differentiate instruction to meet the diverse learning needs of students.
Communicate regularly with parents and guardians regarding student progress, classroom activities, and upcoming events.
Use data-driven instruction to support individual student growth and achievement.
Incorporate technology and innovative teaching methods to enhance the learning experience.
Participate in team meetings, school-wide initiatives, and professional development opportunities.
Collaborate with colleagues to create a unified and effective learning environment.
Maintain a safe, organized, and productive classroom.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Elementary Education or a related field (required).
Valid teaching certification (specific to LA preferred).
Strong knowledge of both English Language Arts and Math curricula for 3rd grade.
Experience with formative and summative assessments, data analysis, and student-centered instruction.
Ability to create a positive and inclusive learning environment.
Excellent communication, organizational, and classroom management skills.
Strong commitment to student growth and development, both academically and socially.
Preferred Qualifications:
Master's degree in Education or related field (preferred).
Previous experience teaching 3rd grade ELA and Math or similar grade levels.
Familiarity with current educational technologies and online learning platforms.
