*Responsibilities*
* Develop and implement comprehensive lesson plans that align with curriculum standards. * Utilize learning technology to enhance student engagement and understanding. * Manage classroom behavior effectively, promoting a positive learning atmosphere. * Provide individualized support for students with diverse learning needs, including early intervention strategies. * Teach physical education and promote healthy lifestyle choices among students. * Conduct regular assessments to monitor student progress and adjust instruction as needed. * Facilitate library services, encouraging a love for reading and research skills. * Maintain open communication with parents regarding student performance and classroom activities. * Participate in professional development opportunities to enhance teaching skills and knowledge.
*Qualifications*
Michigan Teacher Certification
Outstanding verbal and written communication skills
Knowledge of effective and innovative instructional and student evaluation techniques
Knowledge of instructional technology and its applications in teaching
Willingness to work with other teachers to promote interdisciplinary studies
Skill in interpersonal relations with pupils, parents, teachers, staff and the general public
Outstanding references from current and former supervisors
