XD/Afterschool Teacher

Responsibilities:
- Ability to connect and communicate with pre-k and lower school students
- Ability to organize time and follow a specific XD schedule
- Provide supervision of students during XD Xplorations and aftercare
- Provide support to the Xplorations teacher
- Ability to lead students to each scheduled program
- Ability to communicate with parents in a professional manner during pick-up
- Provide a safe environment for learning in an after school setting
Physical Requirements, Work Environment and Abilities Needed
- Ability to engage and interact comfortably with students on the floor, at the tables, and on the playground
- Ability to direct children in a pleasant and clear manner so they understand and readily comply
- Ability to occasionally lift up to 30 pounds
Minimum Requirements:
- Experience working with pre-k and lower school-aged children
- Candidate must agree to fingerprint and background check process
