Winston Prep is a co-ed day school for 3rd through 12th grade students with learning difference such as dyslexia, nonverbal learning disabilities, expressive or receptive language disorders and executive functioning problems. Our mission is to facilitate the independence of individuals with learning difficulties through assessment-driven individualized education, research and outreach.

Please Consider This Exciting Opportunity If You Possess

BA or BS degree in Literacy, English, Special Education, or a related field MA or MS in Speech-Language Pathology, Reading Specialist, Special Education, or Learning Specialist is a significant plus Minimum of two years teaching language arts or specialized literacy to grades 3–12; background with students who have learning differences is highly desirable. Training with multisensory and evidence-based reading/writing programs (e.g., Orton-Gillingham, Wilson, Lindamood-Bell, PAF, SRSD). Ability to interpret psycho-educational evaluations and design data-driven, individualized curriculums and interventions. Exceptional written/ verbal communication, strong organizational and classroom management abilities, and a collaborative, flexible mindset.
