*Position Type:* Part-Time *Pay Range:* $25.00 - $60.00 per hour

*Job Summary:*

Maestro Stars Academy is seeking passionate Voice, Theatre, & Musical Theatre Teachers to join our growing programs. We are looking for enthusiastic individuals who can create a nurturing and stimulating environment for children (especially younger children). The ideal candidate will be responsible for teaching vocal and musical theatre classes for groups ranging from 5 to 20 children, introducing our budding performers to singing techniques, music theory, and musical theater through engaging activities.

*Responsibilities:* * Teach as part of an after-school program and/or individual and group classes separate from the after-school program. * Develop and implement age-appropriate music/musical theatre curriculum and lesson plans. * Plan and lead music/musical theatre activities that promote learning and creativity. * Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment. * Manage classroom behavior and ensure a safe and supportive atmosphere. * Communicate effectively with children, parents, and colleagues. * Collaborate with other staff members to coordinate activities and maintain a cohesive program.

*Qualifications:* * Bachelor's degree highly preferred. * Minimum of 3 years of experience working with children, especially younger ones, in educational or recreational settings. * Experience in music/musical theatre education or a related field is required. * Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities. * Ability to adapt teaching methods to meet the needs of individual children. * Patience and a passion for working with children.
