Key Responsibilities: Provide individualized teaching and support to a kindergarten student with visual impairments, focusing on their unique learning needs. Conduct four 90-minute sessions each week, fostering a conducive learning environment that encourages student engagement. Develop and implement effective lesson plans that align with the student's educational goals and capabilities. Utilize assistive technologies and adaptive materials to facilitate meaningful learning experiences. Collaborate with parents, school staff, and specialists to monitor the student's progress and make necessary adjustments to their educational plan. Participate in regular training and professional development opportunities to stay current with best practices in teaching students with visual impairments. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Special Education, Visual Impairments, or a related field. Certification or licensure in teaching students with visual impairments is preferred.
