Primary Responsibilities Provide specialized instruction in compensatory skills Conduct functional vision and learning media assessments Teach braille reading and writing systems Implement assistive technology solutions Develop orientation and mobility instruction Adapt educational materials for accessibility Collaborate with general education teachers Maintain accurate documentation and progress records Service Population Work with students experiencing various visual impairments including congenital blindness, acquired vision loss, and degenerative eye conditions.
