Primary Responsibilities
Develop and implement individualized education programs
Provide direct virtual instruction in specialized areas
Collaborate with multidisciplinary educational teams
Conduct functional vision assessments
Support general education curriculum access
Maintain detailed progress documentation
Engage families in educational planning
Essential Requirements
Master's degree in Visual Impairment or related special education field
Valid Ohio Teacher for the Visually Impaired license
Minimum 2 years of direct visual impairment teaching experience
Literary Braille competency required
Assistive technology proficiency for visual impairments
Remote instruction experience preferred
Strong problem-solving and communication abilities
