Queens Hebrew Academy - We are seeking someone who is comfortable with teaching Math, Science, STEM to students in grades 4-8.

The candidate should have experience teaching through experimentation and inquiry based learning.

Familiarity with a variety of educational software and experience in using educational technology to enhance instruction

Possess a through understanding of effective teaching proactices.

Create a stimulating learning environment that is sensitive to student's needs.

Have the ability to use a variety of instructional strategies to engage and support a range of learners

Develop and use a variety of assessments to measure and guide student progress

Be able to align instruction to meet the NYS Next Generation Standards

Be able to work collaboratively with other teachers

Establish and maintain standards of behavior to provide an orderly, productive classroom environment
