Bright Stars Learning Center in Crawford, MS, is a high-quality early learning environment where children thrive academically and socially. We are seeking a dedicated Toddler Teacher to join our team and create a safe, loving, and stimulating environment for children aged 1–2 years.

Position Overview

The Toddler Teacher will provide age-appropriate care, instruction, and developmental activities for toddlers, ensuring they meet developmental milestones while maintaining a nurturing environment.

Key Responsibilities

Plan and implement engaging, developmentally appropriate lesson plans for toddlers (1–2 years old).

Foster a safe, positive, and stimulating classroom environment that encourages curiosity and growth.

Monitor and track children’s physical, emotional, social, and cognitive development.

Communicate regularly with parents regarding children’s progress and daily activities.

Maintain classroom cleanliness, organization, and compliance with Mississippi state regulations.

Collaborate with staff to create a team-oriented, positive environment.

Qualifications

Minimum 1–2 years of experience in an early childhood or toddler classroom.

CDA (Child Development Associate) or equivalent early childhood coursework preferred.

Knowledge of developmental milestones for toddlers and creative teaching techniques.

CPR and First Aid Certification (or willingness to obtain within 60 days).

Strong communication, patience, and classroom management skills.
