Job Summary
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Toddler Teacher to join our early childhood education team. The ideal candidate will create a nurturing and stimulating environment that fosters the social, emotional, and cognitive development of young children. This role requires a commitment to promoting a positive learning atmosphere and engaging with children through play-based learning activities.
Responsibilities
Develop and implement age-appropriate lesson plans that align with early childhood education standards.
Create a safe, welcoming, and inclusive classroom environment for all children.
Foster positive relationships with children, encouraging their social skills and emotional growth.
Monitor and assess children's progress, providing feedback to parents and guardians.
Collaborate with colleagues to enhance the educational experience and share best practices.
Maintain classroom organization and cleanliness to ensure a conducive learning environment.
Communicate effectively with parents regarding children's development and classroom activities.
Implement safety protocols, including first aid procedures when necessary.
Skills
Strong understanding of childhood development principles and early childhood education practices.
Experience working with children in various settings such as babysitting, childcare, or nannying.
Ability to adapt teaching methods to accommodate children with disabilities or special needs.
Proficient in creating engaging lesson plans that promote learning through play.
Excellent communication skills for interacting with children, parents, and colleagues.
Knowledge of first aid procedures to ensure the safety of all students in the classroom.
Ability to manage a classroom effectively while maintaining a positive atmosphere.
Strong organizational skills to keep track of lesson plans, student progress, and classroom materials.
