*Duties*
* Develop and implement age-appropriate lesson plans that promote learning through play and exploration. * Create a safe, inclusive, and engaging classroom environment that encourages curiosity and creativity. * Monitor and assess children's progress, providing feedback to parents and guardians on their development. * Manage classroom behavior effectively, using positive reinforcement strategies to guide children’s actions. * Collaborate with other educators and staff to support the needs of all children, including those with disabilities. * Maintain a clean and organized classroom, ensuring all materials are safe and accessible. * Communicate regularly with parents about their child's progress and any concerns that may arise. * Participate in ongoing professional development opportunities to enhance teaching skills and knowledge of early childhood education best practices.
*Skills*
* Strong background in early childhood education principles and practices. * Experience working in daycare or preschool settings is highly desirable. * Knowledge of behavior management techniques to effectively handle classroom dynamics. * Ability to work with children of varying abilities, including those with disabilities. * Proficient in classroom management strategies that foster a positive learning environment. * Certification in First Aid and CPR is preferred. * Previous experience as a nanny or caregiver for young children is an asset. * Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to interact effectively with children, parents, and colleagues.

Pay: $21.00 - $24.00 per hour
