Soliant is seeking a dedicated and experienced Special Education Teacher to provide instructional support to students in grades 612 through push-in and pull-out services. This role requires collaboration with general education staff and active participation in Admission, Review, and Dismissal (ARD) meetings to support the success of approximately 20 students. Key Responsibilities: Provide individualized instruction through push-in and pull-out support models. Collaborate with general education teachers to adapt curriculum and implement accommodations and modifications. Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) aligned with student needs and legal requirements. Attend, contribute to, and document ARD meetings for students on your caseload. Monitor and assess student progress, adjusting strategies and interventions as needed. Maintain compliance with state and federal special education regulations. Foster a supportive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages student growth and independence. Requirements: Valid EC-12 Special Education Certification from the Texas Department of Education (required) Prior experience participating in ARD meetings (required) Strong communication, collaboration, and documentation skills Ability to work effectively with students, staff, and families Knowledge of Texas special education policies and procedures Work Environment: School-based setting serving students in grades 612 Approximately 20 students on caseload Supportive and collaborative special education team This position requires a commitment of 37.5hours per week from 7:45 AM to 3:30 PM Employment is for the duration of the school year, following the academic calendar
