Are you passionate about empowering students with visualimpairments to thrive academically and socially? We’re seeking adedicated Teachers for the Visually Impaired (TVI) to join ourteam and make a meaningful impact in students’ lives.

?? Position Overview: As a TVI, you’ll provide tailored instruction and support to students withvisual impairments, helping them grow intellectually, socially, andemotionally. You’ll design and implement individualized learning experiencesthat foster independence, confidence, and academic success.

? What You’ll Do:

Develop and deliver instructional programs that meet the unique needs of visually impaired students Support students in building essential life skills and academic competencies Collaborate with general education teachers, specialists, and families to ensure inclusive learning environments Adapt curriculum materials and use assistive technology to enhance accessibility Monitor student progress and adjust instruction as needed ?? What We’re Looking For: Certified Teacher for the Visually Impaired (or eligibility to obtain certification) Experience working with students with visual impairments preferred Strong communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills Passion for inclusive education and student-centered teaching ?? Pay Rate: $50/hour + benefits ?? Location: Morgantown, WV

?? Schedule: Full time, M-F, no nights, weekends, or holidays

Minimum Requirements: Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited university preferred Valid state teaching certificate as required by stateregulations One year experience as a teacher for the visually impairedpreferred Current CPR if applicable TB Questionnaire, PPD or chest x-ray if applicable Current Health certificate (per contract or stateregulation) Must meet all federal, state and local requirements Must be at least 18 years of age Benefits
