Teacher-Math Long-Term Substitute

North Reading High School is seeking a Math Teacher to serve as a long-term substitute from tentatively September 2, 2025 through October 16, 2025. Essential duties
Unit/lesson planning with an emphasis on Geometry and AP Calculus classes
Direct instruction of students
Assessment of student learning
Be available to conference with parents and families as needed or requested
Work closely with our team of teachers in the Math Department to ensure pacing and learning expectations are maintained
Other duties as requested by the Building Principal, Coordinator of STEM Education, and/or Designee
Requirements Bachelor's Degree in a related field
Massachusetts Department of Elementary and Secondary Education teaching license in Mathematics, grades 8-12
Strong interpersonal skills
Collaborative working demeanor
Excellent oral and written communication skills
At least 3 years of relevant experience preferred
Citizenship, residency, or work visa required
