Methodist Home for Children is hiring a Teacher for our juvenile residential assessment program in Asheville, NC . This is your chance to use your skills in a non-traditional, highly supportive environment —where your work helps transform the lives of youth in crisis. What You’ll Do: Design and deliver flexible, individualized lesson plans using both traditional and digital tools.
Track student progress with official transcripts and performance records.
Collaborate with a passionate team to support youth academically and personally during their 4-8 week residential stay.
What We’re Looking For: Bachelor’s degree and 2+ years of middle/high school teaching experience required.
NC teaching certification highly preferred.
A flexible mindset and a heart for working with youth in a trauma-informed setting.
