K-12 SPECIAL EDUCATION
Overview:
Central Lake Public Schools seeks a highly qualified, motivated, and organized K-12 Special Education teacher for the 2024-25 school year. The specific grade level assignment is to be determined based on student needs and placement.
Certification:
Valid State of Michigan teaching certificate with Special Education (SM, SE, or equivalent) endorsement.
Qualifications: Demonstrate enthusiasm and expertise in working with students with a wide range of disabilities Able to organize and direct students and classroom aides Able to work collaboratively with peers, supervisors, Char-Em ISD staff, and parents to develop educational plans for students Able to create, implement, and access student IEP's Able to differentiate instruction based on student needs Impeccable record of attendance Willingness to demonstrate lifelong learning through professional development and a growth mindset Able to positively participate in building and district committees
Compensation:
Pay is based on the Central Lake Teacher Master Agreement (2024-2025 salary schedule) and is commensurate with experience.
