About the Job
This position consists of a 0.6 FTE Teacher Preparation Program Specialist who will support the School of Education in the College of Undergraduate Studies in (SoE) training, partner school outreach, supporting clinical field coordinators who place students into their field experiences and student teaching, tracking field hours for state compliance, document development and management, tracking payments, etc.  Job Location Fully on-site - must reside and work legally in the . We’re looking for candidates who have: Bachelor's degree in education or related area preferred. Experience in the K-12 education sector preferred. Basic knowledge of teacher preparation licensure programs, including knowledge of clinical practice models and state/national standards to which the programs align preferred. Excellent written communication skills and collaborative human relationship skills applied to College of Undergraduate Studies (CUS) faculty, staff, students and partnership schools. Proficient knowledge and skill of Microsoft Office products – Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Excel, essential Ability to learn and master the Colorado Christian University’s database programs and systems. In this role, the Teacher Preparation Program Specialist contributes to the mission of Christ-centered education transforming the world with grace and truth. The School of Education contributes to the mission by placing students who see teaching as their calling to be salt and light in schools. Identify, manage, and track student placements in each school during the semester. Provide related support to the SoE in operational efficiencies, program quality, and related projects. Understanding of CCU specific software such as the use of eforms for SoE. Manage all aspects of the eforms process for field experience and student teaching. Support the School of Education field coordinators in all aspects of field placement and information tracking. Support the School of Education field coordinators in reimbursements and remuneration for supervisors and school based teachers.
