Teacher of the Visually Impaired (TVI) – Westwood, MA

Schedule: 2 Days/Week | Hours: 8:00 AM – 3:00 PM | Days Flexible

Hourly Rate: $55/hr | Setting: In-Person | K–12 District Position

Connected Health Care is seeking a Teacher of the Visually Impaired (TVI) to provide in-person services, evaluations, and consultations for a K–12 district in Westwood, MA . This is a flexible, part-time opportunity ideal for educators seeking meaningful work with a manageable schedule.

Job Responsibilities:

Deliver direct instructional support to students with visual impairments across grade levels.

Conduct functional vision assessments and provide consultative services.

Adapt instructional materials and provide accessibility recommendations.

Collaborate with IEP teams, teachers, and families to support student development.

Qualifications & Requirements:

Valid Massachusetts TVI License or Certification (or ability to obtain).

Experience serving students with visual impairments in school settings.

Strong communication, assessment, and collaboration skills.

Ability to provide in-person services 2 days per week.
