This full-time, onsite opportunity in the Houston area is perfect for a TVI who thrives in an itinerant role and enjoys serving students across multiple grade levels. About the Role This assignment begins July 29, 2025, and runs through May 26, 2026. The position is full-time37.5 hours per week, Monday through Fridaywith some limited part-time roles available (inquire for details). As an itinerant TVI, youll serve a K12 caseload, providing direct instruction, accessibility supports, and Braille or Nemeth Code resources as needed. Youll travel between sites, collaborate with IEP teams, and empower each student to succeed academically and independently. Required Qualifications Valid Texas Teacher of the Visually Impaired certification
Strong proficiency in Braille, Nemeth Code, and adaptive technology
Experience delivering direct services in a school setting preferred
Solid understanding of functional vision and learning media assessments
Ability to manage an itinerant schedule across multiple campuses
